This film is an exploration of womxn and mental health; mental illness is like the ever-running faucet that fills up the tub in this film, always making noise and never amassing to anything. Listening to a constant sound of rushing creates a constant state of unease within the bathing maiden.
This unease becomes manifested as she pours blood on her head after drinking it. From her perspective, it is the blood she feels most connected to than the water, for at least blood is thick enough to drown the noise.
