The public consumption media gives the symbol elements like beautiful, young and elegant to the commodities, so as to advocate women’s consumption – “As long as you buy this cosmetics, you can become a beautiful and independent woman.” and “Really elegant women’s must-have bags.” and other words fill the whole public. The symbolic elements of “Girl’s Power” in goods such as cosmetics and clothes seem to be the only way for women to enhance their social value.
Confession can also mean to admit and state the facts of making mistakes. I use a female’s shopping psychology to let people understand consumption. The protagonist is a woman who is brainwashed and addicted to consumerism. She uses self mockery to let others reflect on this phenomenon.
