1-Opening scene for special length « Shrek The Halls » night scene digital

PDI Dreamworks animation (Redwood city California) had multi layers
proprietorial tool software for per-comp. Also used Vue for multi layers
Lay-Out preparation for « Madagascar2 » Savannah canopy trees.
Painted panoramic for skies, clouds digital paint on dashboards for
airplane cockpit in Photoshop.
3-Psy-Op New York, 3# Commercials for Lincoln GPS, Matte-paintings
and sketches lay-out for clients solutions, back and fourth quick
turnover plates for track up camera solutions in Maya and comped.
I usually make so quick release lay –out art pre render to have an idea
of the final mood for the entire image. Having responsibility of the art
direction on those case i do have close dialogue with director’s needs.
4-The Mill « Whirlpool »and » BBC digital TV » proposal art thumbnails
before the final matte paintings. Based on Hi-res footage Patagonia
Chile. Photoshop assemblage for art direction concept to validation with
Director’s vision.
5-MPC » Watchman » Manhattan NY establishing shots 4K a different
approach on Maya texturing with simple Photoshop using path layers
axial texturing with (RGB) layers as masks and « Z »depth atmospheric
density pass. (B&W)
6-Matte paintings on Positive intermediate scanned for the much

At Eclair lab, my first real solo break-thru into the business after been a
solid back ground artist over many years in animation since 1985 when
I started my first animation slow motion glass painted in front of

Moreau fro Eclair and Roman Polanski himself report directly.

zoom. Pitof film RF2K. Scene of riots street extensions (Bordeaux) and
Paris establishing shots 8 months pre and post production, additional
photography on set medium format 4,4X6 (analog digital Fujinon
Lenses, HASSELBLAD Lenses Serie V). Skies panoramic Pantheon and
all scenes over Paris Roof by dusk and at night fall.
Last Taipei Post-Production facility Cheers Digit art Taipei Matte painting
Supervision for « Control » Hong-Kong movie, Art direction
for set extensions, Night reflections and Monorail scenes, all made in
Photoshop for compositing.Films not included, « Hugo Cabret », Ex
Machina « Final Fantasy » for Squre Japan and many more interesting
variety of films de genres.
